I’m new to this whole website thing, how does it work?
How much does a website cost?
The cost of a website can vary depending on various factors, just like the cost of a house may vary. Our website projects generally start in the $3,000 – $5,000 range for basic business websites and range upward depending on your unique needs and complexity of the project.
How long does it take to design and build a website?
The time it takes to produce a website depends on the size and complexity of your site and the quality of content that you have ready to go.
No content = no website.
A basic website typically takes around 4-5 weeks from beginning to end IF you have all your content ready to roll before we start.
Do I need my own domain name and web hosting?
Yes, we can help you get this set up and we can work with your existing provider too. We have partnered with some awesome hosting companies and can get you a great hosting package for your website.
Will my website work on mobile devices?
Yes it will. All the websites we design work on all devices. Depending on your requirements we can design and develop your site using responsive design so that the site is optimised for mobile devices.
What is a Content Management System?
A Content Management System is a tool that allows you to maintain the pages of your website yourself, without the need for any technical skills. A CMS allows you to edit and add pages, images, products or blog entries to your website. No additional software is required – all you need is a web browser and an internet connection.
Do you provide training?
Yes we provide all our clients with training on how to maintain their website if they want to manage on their own. We also have our website care plans you can subscribe to.
Can you help me with SEO, Social Media and Email Marketing?
We sure can. After your website is live, we can talk about SEO, social media and email marketing for your business.
What is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?
Search Engine Optimisation is all about getting your website higher up in the search results on search engines such as Google. The higher up the results you are the more traffic (and customers) you’re likely to get.
There are many aspects that go into achieving good SEO, and one of the most important is the copy (words) on your website. Focus on well written, keyword rich and appropriate content is the key.
Can you write the content for my site?
Yes we can include the content writing to your project scope if you want. We have an expert copywriter in our team who specialises in writing for the web.
Can you design my logo?
We surely can. We need to know your business name and services you provide. Let us know if you have specific draft/mockup for the logo.
What is a domain name?
A domain name is your address on the internet. Typically this would be something like yourcompany.com.
What is web hosting?
Web hosting is a service that allows your website to be viewed on the Internet. It’s basically a computer housed in a data centre that runs your website and email.
If your domain is like your street address, web hosting is like your office. It has all your business stuff in it, and people find it using your street address.
Do you provide web hosting?
Yes. We also provide web hosting on our partner hosting provider and setup the website on new host.
